All you are experiencing in your life today is the result of what you have chosen in the past. If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you keep getting the results you’ve always got, that much is clear. If you want different results, you have to behave in a different way therefore to change the results we have to change the responses.
Blaming is just a wasting of time. Doesn´t matter how much fault you may see in others, doesn´t matter how much you blame or complaint, things are not going to change by doing so. You are the one that created the thoughts you think , you created your emotions, you are the one who chose the words that you say. It is uncomfortable to ask someone to stop humilliating you, it is uncomfortable asking someone to stop smoking around you, it is uncomfortable telling someone you distrust him or her … So you pretend that you’re not listening, you have not seen anything, avoid confrontation and continue protecting yourself without taking any risks.
Life is much easier when you do not wait for disasters to occur and then blame the situation or person for any of the resulting problems. The bottom line is that you are who is creating your life as it is at present. The life you are living is the result of your thoughts, your actions and your behaviour. To produce that which benefits you, you have to know how to choose and spend more time practicing those behaviours that most benefit you.
You have to pay attention and observe what you are doing, and the results that you are getting. You have to ask yourself:
Does what I am doing work?
How can I do it better?
Is there anything else i could do, that I am not doing?
Is there anything that may be I should stop doing?
Ask someone who respects you, and who you can trust:
How do you think that I am limiting myself? Don´t fear asking, you will feel better by knowing the truth rather than not knowing it. For me this feedback is fundamental and continues being very important to improve not only the quality of my life, but aspects in my career and specially my personal and professional relationships.
We cannot improve our quality of life, our health, relationships, if we do not have feedback. If your body is tired, if you feel lack of energy in your body, stress, these all are signs and indicators that you cannot ignore.
Ask yourself how am I allowing or creating it?
What am i doing that works out and I need to practice more?
Should i practise more meditation, trust more, listen more, ask more, control my sugar intake..?
What am i doing that doesn´t work?
What should i stop doing?
Am I watching too much TV, talking too much, spending too much money, eating too many sweets, drinking too much, turning up late everywhere i go, criticizing too much, judging other people, sending text phone messages all the time?
Observe around yourself. Are the people around you happy? are you happy? is there balance, happiness, peace, comfort in everything around you? are you getting positive results? are you having any pain? are you improving every area of your life? is there any area of your life where you are not getting the results that you want to achieve?
Start creating inventory of your life to improve and create the changes we need to see in the world.
